MORRISON MODEL 9095A VALVE — •Overfill prevention valve installed at the fill port of an aboveground tank. •Available in 2" and 3". It is imperative to note that the 2" valves requires a 4" tank opening for installation, and that the 3" valve requires a 6" tank opening. •Terminates flow of product into the tank when the liquid level reaches a pre-set shutoff point (typically 90% to 95% of tank capacity). Allows full flow of product up to within one to two seconds of the valve's closing. Cushioned shutoff prevents abrupt kickback or jolt in the line. •The 2" valve is normally used on above- ground tanks utilizing 'top fill', or making the fill connection at the top of the tank. The 3" valve, meanwhile, is used in 'low fill' or remote fill applications, where the fill connection is at ground level and piping carries product to the top of the tank in the fueling process. •Requires tight delivery connection when using. Many 9095A valves are supplied with camlock fitting at hose connection end. Mascott stocks the models with male camlock adapter ends. Dust cap must be ordered separately. |
